Rajmah Masala


Kidney beans - 1 Cup(soaked overnight & boiled separate)

Potato - 2 ea(peeled & diced)

Onion - 1 ea(sliced)

Tomato - 2 ea(pureed)

ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

coriander powder - 1 tsp

cumin powder - 1 tsp

chilli powder - 1 tsp

Garam masala - 1 tsp

green chilli - 2 (slit)

jeera - 2 tsp

cloves - 2 ea

cinnamon - 1 stick

cardamom - 2 ea

oil - 2 tbsp

seasoning - to taste

Coriander leaves - 1/2 bch chopped for ganish

Method :

Temper 3C spices (cinnamon, cardomom & cloves) in oil along with cumin seeds.

Add in the onion until nicely coloured.add in the ginger garlic paste.

once the raw flavour of ginger garlic is cooked add in all the spice powders & cook till the raw flavour is cooked.

Add in the pureed tomato & cook till a fine gravy is made.

Add in the potato & simmer until the potato is cooked which also helps the gravy to get thick as it gives starch.

Add in the separately cooked kidney beans & finish off with seasoning & chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with chappathi or roti.

Eggplant & Groundnut mixed curry


Small Brinjals(eggplant)-6 ea

Red Onions- 1 ea

Tomatoes - 1 ea

Groundnut raw - 100 gms

Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp

Coriander powder - 1tsp

cumin powder - 1 tsp

chilli powder - 1 tsp

turmeric powder - 1 tsp

Seasoning - to taste

oil - 4 tbsp

curry leaves - 2 sprigs

Cumin seeds - 1 tsp


Heat oil in pan. add cumin seeds to temper.saute Onions & tomatoes to paste.

Add the ginger garlic paste & sweat until cooked.

Add in all the spices to cook to release the raw flavour. makesure it is well cooked until the rawness in the spices get worned off.

Add in the groundnut & cook until well done.

In the meanwhile split open the brinjals & cook it in separate pan to loose its stickyness.

Finish the dish by adding in the brinjal & groundnut mix & check seasoning.

Serve with rice or any kinda rotis or chappathis.



Small brinjals(Aubergine)-6 or 7
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1tsp
Garam masala - 1tsp
salt -1tsp
oil-4 tbsp
mustard seeds- 1tsp


Mix all powders including seasoning.
Split the brinjals in centre.(do not separate) and stuff the masala gently.

Heat the oil in a non stick pan, to put the mustard seeds, and add the stuffed brinjals.
Fry gently until its done.

Serve with rice, paratha, Chappathi.

Ceasar Salad- Home Style


Red onion- 2 ea (small dice)
Cherry tomatoes-1 Pint (halved)
avacados - 2 ea (small dice)
cucumber-1/2 ea (small dice)
romaine lettuce - 6 hearts (whole heart or diced)
buffallo mozarella cheese-1ea (diced)
seasoning - to taste
Organic ceasar dressing - 4tbsp

Separately Dice all the ingredients & mix it well together with seasoning.
Add in the ceasar dressing. & check seasoning.
serve cold.

Note: ceasar dressing can be bought readymade but they might have anchovy essesnce or flavouring in it. try the organic one which might have only egg.
