PAV BHAJI







Ingredients

Boiled potato- 500 gm
Onion- 2 no (finely chopped)

Tomato- 1 no (finely chopped)

Green capsicum -1 no (finely chopped)

Peas- 100 gm
Carrot- 1 grated

Red chilli powder-to taste

Pav bhaji powder-3 tsp

Butter- 4Tsp

Pav - 10 to 15

Cumin seeds- 1tsp

Ginger garlic paste -2 tsp

Salt to taste

Coriander leaves- For garnishing

Method

Heat 2 Tsp butter in a pan, add cumin seeds, onion, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and cook.

Add chilli powder, pav bhaji powder to sauté until raw flavour goes off.

Add capsicum, carrot, peas , ½ cup of water and allow to cook.

When the vegetables are almost done add boiled mashed potatoes to mix well.

Check seasoning and garnish with coriander.

Cut the pav, apply butter to toast, to serve with masala and chopped onion.

    I hope you got my emails. I have contacted Sailaja at sailusfood and also updated my username at blogger (now Naina instead of gromit). I am freaking out about all this mix up.     I had pav bhaji for breakfast yday. My mom made it with chick peas, apparently in hotels they use chole to make it tasty and filling. Yeah, i have always wondered why in hotels we are full in 2 tablespoons of bhaji and the one we make at home we eat lots of cups.
