PORICHA KUZHAMBU- PONGAL KOOTU
RM 2# Day 13
This poricha kuzhambu is famous dish in tamil nadu & especially Brahmin community.
Potato-1 ea( chopped)
Carrot- 1 ea(chopped)
Chow chow- 1 cup(chopped)
White pumpkin- 1 cup(chopped-optional)
Tuvar dhal- 1 cup(cooked)
Oil- 4 tsp(divided)
Urad dhal- 3 tsp
Peppercorn- 1 tsp
Sambar powder- 2 tsp
Salt- to taste
Curry levaes- 2 sprigs
Mustard seed- 1 tsp
Take the pan add all vegetables ,water,salt ,curry leaves & sambar powder to cook it well.
In the meanwhile heat oil in a pan add urad dhal, peppercorn to fry until roast & grind it with coconut.
Heat the cooked vegetables, add ground paste & cooked dhal.
Mix well & allow to cook until raw flours extracts.
Heat oil in a pan, temper with mustard seed & serve hot with rice or chappathi.
