GOSTHU PODI


Ingredients

Splitted channa dhal- 1 cup
Coriander seed- 2 cups
Whole red chilli- 2o ea(Acc to taste)

Method

Dry roast all ingredients & Allow it to cool down.

Blend it to a coarse powdery texture.

This powder is mainly used to make Gosthu especially & can be used in sambar & Rasam.

  2. innaiki dhan indha podi potu sambar pannen :) i also dry fry some coconut along with this and grind.

  5. lovely! I love the flavour of these roasted daals in podis. But, I really didn't know one could have such simple podis too. What is Goshtu? I'm curious :)

  6. I was searching for the recipe to make Gosthu. Did not know that Gosthu Podi even existed. This will make things easier. Thanks for sharing.
