CARROT PEAS PULAO/ CARROT PEAS RICE


Ingredients

Onion-1 medium
Tomato-2 medium
Garlic – 3 (finely sliced)
Mustard seed-1 tsp
Urad dhal-1 tbsp
Oil-1 tbsp
Red chillies- 3
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Carrot- 3 medium (grated)
Peas- 1 cup ( I used frozen)
Cooked rice- 3 cups

Method

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed, urad dhal, whole red chillies & allow to temper.


Add garlic, onion, tomato, turmeric powder &  sauté.


Add grated carrot, peas ,salt& sauté until soft.


Add cooked rice & mix well.

Serve hot with Raitha.
